UNDERGOING RECONSTRUCTION
Aegis Company is a supporting, later antagonistic faction featured in High Value Target. It is a large private military company under the leadership of the worldwide technology and research company Mirage Group. They seem to hire all kinds of personnel, ranging from former military operators to "dirty" soldiers. There has been a bitter and intense rivalry between them and Vanguard Global Security; both forces occasionally clash head-on.

Known Operations[]
Operation Shadow Return[]
- Dispatched a squad of Paragon operators to an offshore military prison to rescue Paragon lieutenant "Shroud". The operation was successful, with the lieutenant rescued and the prison destroyed.
Operation Purge Protocol[]
- The Japanese government hired Aegis to enforce peace in Shibuya after a massive Raider invasion devastated the city. The Japanese people condemned Aegis for its brutal tactics and its 'empty the streets' policy, which allowed Aegis operators to treat anyone as hostiles.
Personnel[]
Assault Team[]
Aegis Assault Team members solely consist of contractors. They focus on invading and attacking enemy territory, capturing high-value targets, and temporary peacekeeping. Despite their casual appearance, they are well-armed with cutting-edge weapons and top-of-the-line armor and equipment.
They wear jackets or shirts of varying colors, ranging from grey to blue to black. Often, they conceal their faces with a scarf, balaclava, or sunglasses. They carry lightweight plate carriers with magazines, medical supplies, and radios attached to them. They also wear utility belts with carabiners, glowsticks, and sidearm ammunition. Furthermore, holsters and knee pads are strapped to their legs.
The Assault Team's primary firearm is either the HK433 assault rifle or the KRISS Vector Gen 2 submachine gun, along with the FN Five-seven sidearm. Combat knives are also slotted into their vests or belts.
The Assault Team is also known as the Strike Team, Takedown Team, Contractors, or, derogatorily by The Raiders, "Blueboys."
Military Police[]
Aegis Military Police (MP) members are the intermediate between Assault and Security. In conflicts involving Aegis Company, MPs are deployed into the areas nearby for peacekeeping, security, and reconnaissance, among other roles.
MPs are often seen in two attires: MultiCam Black and wolf gray. Their gear is much more advanced and efficient than Assault Team contractors as it is supplied by Aegis Company rather than self-bought. MultiCam Black MPs often patrol streets and perform raids at night. Aside from their MultiCam Black clothes, they wear tan gear. Wolf gray MPs perform tasks like peacekeeping and escorting during the day. They appear less intimidating than MultiCam Black MPs, sporting wolf gray gear & clothes and coyote brown pants.
MPs carry the HK433 as their primary and the Beretta M9 as their sidearm.
Security Team[]
Aegis Security Team members specialize in protecting key locations and facilities, acting as bodyguards for VIPs, and escorting valuable cargo. Unlike the Assault Team, Security Team members carry less equipment.
They are easily identified by their black metal mask with a translucent golden visor. They also wear navy blue jackets underneath a black chestplate (which holds pouches and a radio), navy blue pants with black boots, a utility belt, black gloves, navy blue patrol caps, and a pistol holster. There may be additional pouches strapped to their shoulders or legs.
They wield the AK-19 assault rifle and carry the FN Five-seven as a sidearm. They also carry batons on their hips.
Rig 19 Security Team[]
The Security Team of Rig 19 wears a grey-black jacket and black cargo pants. Instead of a patrol cap, they wear a black FAST helmet equipped with a face shield and respirator. Furthermore, they have an air filter on their backs. They are noticeably more armored and heavily armed compared to default Security Team members.
