Description[]

Flawed Mode is a mode that is very different to Telekinetic Mode, and is meant to be the successor to the infamous Hardcore Mode. Although the mode also visually looks much like Telekinetic Mode, there are some clear visual distinctions. Most enemies have the ability to stun Towers, so it's highly recommended you bring a medic. Pre-rewrite commander dialogue can be found here. The starting cash of this mode is Cash 1500. Though, it can be accessed by beating Hardcore Mode 50 times, it has a Level 75+ requirement. Some enemies aren't/are very strong, however they have high defense or deadly abilities which ends up causing a load of trouble.

Waves: 104

Rewards & How to Obtain[]

Triumphing this mode will receive 15 Levels (the Exp you need doesn't matter), Gem 900 Gems and Coin 2,000 Coins. Also, as a special treat, the Bioworker tower. However, if you triumphed Actually Flawed!, you’ll get the Magnum tower, along with all the rewards.

Beat hardcore in 50 minutes with a specific loadout. The following towers are: Accelerator, Farm, Ranger and Minigunner (Golden Minigunner is allowed, too.) The last tower is customized, meaning you bring whatever tower you want. But the next time you play a match with 3 people, there will be another mode that violently shakes if you click or hover your cursor over it. Click this and it will send you to another match. That match is in fact Flawed Mode. Also, if you can get to Wave 60 in 55 minutes or less, the screen will start to go dark green. If this happens, you have triggered the “Actually Flawed!

Rules and Mechanics Throughout the Mode[]

You can use any abilities. As well as this, farms will produce only 75% of the cash they would normally give you. As well as this Hidden Exposure is enabled in Flawed Mode, but adding on this, Hidden Exposure is active, only works when the Paintballer is above Level 1. However, to make it easier, the expense of the towers are nerfed to their normal cost and the base health is buffed from 100-300. And finally, in the early game, the only cash you get is by farms and doing damage to enemies, Oh wait. There's more. Similiar to Lost Souls, if you want to achieve Actually Flawed, your loadout has to be Accelerator, Farm, Minigunner (Golden Perk is allowed), and Ranger. Also, finally, Your base HP is automatically set to 1,350 HP. Alisha is one of three fanmade towers you can use, due to an connection between her and the Armada. The status of this relation is unkown and nobody has any idea of it being docile or hostile. Anyways, the other two are Sonic Buster and Bioworker. WAIT I FORGOT SOMETHING! Bosses from other modes and events do not have any boss music (Except for Amalgamation and Krampus.)

Split Gamemode[]

Flawed Mode is split into 2 parts. Decoy-game or Pre-Flawed King, and True-game or Post-Flawed King. Decoy-game is simple. Level 50 and over only allowed. But true-game is locked. You must be Level 60 or over to play it, However Accelerator is a valid tower in it. Also, Enemies usually get replaced by stronger versions.

Trivia[]

  • Flawed Mode shares some enemies with a mode known as Fatal Sunrise Mode or just F.C, but it was cancelled, due to the mode being TRASH
  • Flawed Mode used to be named Distorted Mode, however before that it was called Corrupted Mode.
  • The enemy on the icon of Flawed Mode is planned to be a miniboss
  • Corrupted Mage was an enemy from the Corrupted Era, originally being a holographic fallen. It's name was going to be changed, but Gr'nke felt it stuck, so it is still called Corrupted Mage
  • Flawed King was meant to be the final boss
    • Although Deformed King was originally going to be the final boss, changes were made resulting in a figure known as the "Salient Overlord" being the boss.
  • Flawed Mode is even harder than Hardcore, as while most bosses have much less health, they are incredibly resourceful with abilities.
  • Amalgamation still speaks gibberish like in Telekinetic Mode. I guess some things, never change.
