Description

The Soul Harvester is an enemy appearing exclusively in Hardcore mode. Like with other bosses appearing in Hardcore mode, the Soul Harvester moves at a quite slow speed. However, the Soul Harvester can kill towers, as well as spawn Souls, which makes very threatful.

The Soul Harvester often spawns Souls, but it has a small chance of spawning a Soul Stealer.

Model created by Understurdy.

Appearance

The Soul Harvester has black diamond plated legs, and a dark brown diamond plated torso with granite gloves. It wears a hefty dark brown jacket with grey granite outlining. It has numerous chains spread throughout its body. The Soul Harvester's jacket has a cape attached to it, and two grey skulls are attached to the front of it. The Soul Harvester wears a dark brown hood with a skull inside of it. The inside of its hood is glowing white.

Strategy

  • Beware of the Soul Harvester's Soul Steal ability, as it can kill useful towers.
    • It's ideal to have most groups of towers surrounding a useful tower, like the Commander or DJ Booth.
  • Tower with fast firerate, like the Minigunner, or Turret can easily wipe out the Soul Harvester, most likely due to its slow speeds.
    • The Commander's Call to Arms ability will become useful if the Souls spawned get in the way.
      • The DJ Booth will also help extend ranges so that the Souls that spawn do not go past defenses.
        • Additionally, the Toxic Gunner will be able to slow down the Souls incase they do go past most defenses.
  • The Pursuit's splash damage may help clearing out the Souls spawned.
    • It is recommended to get the Pursuit maxed before the Souls spawn, due to Pursuit getting hidden detection only at level 5.
  • The Accelerator is a very good tower for cleaning out the Souls that the Soul Harvester spawns, due to it having hidden detection from level 0.
